Review: Easy Ad Wizard

Over the years, I have tried many different things to have banner ads created.

I use them for many things, especially for promoting evergreen products on download pages, thank you pages, and on websites.

I also use them to create affiliate banners, email sign-up links, and ad banners to promote my own products.

I know I can create them myself in Photoshop or Pixlmator, but my graphic skills using that type of software are not the greatest, and the learning curve to get really good at it is a bit higher than I'm willing to invest time-wise.

So, when needed, I’ve tried different things.

I’ve bought online services for five dollars a month that I ended up canceling, because the functionality was horrible, or the end look was not a good one.

Once I even subscribed to a premium service for $200 a month. They would create any kind of banner or ad as often as I wanted. I wound up canceling this service, also, because the limits on what they could do at any one time were such that the graphics ended up being very expensive, when calculated on a per graphic basis.

Recently, I've taken to using Fiverr. You can get some decent graphics and banners done for $5.50, and they usually only take a day or two.

However, a few days ago I was introduced to an interesting online solution called Easy Ad Wizard.

It's a true drag-and-drop system. It works on both Mac and PC, and it accessed online in a private membership area.

The basic system comes with 30 banner ad templates, hundreds of graphics, effects, the ability to upload your own images, complete color options, undo and redo history buttons, awesome text options, a way to save and load your files, and a fully customizable canvas size.

They have a Pro version of the software, but I did not pick that up. It had many more templates, some ninja mascots, and some different basic sizes, but with the fully customizable size option already included, I did not see much need for that. I think it would be a good upgrade if I wanted more templates to give me better ideas for different ad styles, but for now I'll stick with the basic version.

If you are going to use this to perform Fiverr gigs or sell your creations to the public, the Pro version would be worth every penny.

I have played around with it and found it's ease-of-use and flexibility to be exactly what I was looking for. I am extremely pleased with it and am giving it my full recommendation.

Here is a video walk-through of exactly what it does:

The software is available for a reasonable monthly fee ($9.90) or a low one-time cost. Normally, the one-time cost is $27, but I have arranged for a $10 discount for my list subscribers, bringing it down to only $17.

If you are currently using Fiverr for banner ads, like I was, the software pays for itself after you make only 3 banners.

  1. Looks Handy Ed, I like the idea of having templates you can use for ads.
I tend not to do a lot of advertising on my sites, they tend to be the odd review product. Does the tool lend to creating images that can be use in blog posts as well as ads?

    • Yes, you could use it for that, since you can import images into the creator. It would be good for something in a blog that needed a call to action.

I will be using it mostly for banners on thank you pages of my free reports, and download pages of my products.

  2. It seems to be a very useful product. If I would not already have my own expert for this (and I own him for lifetime, being my husband :) ), for sure I would take anything recommended by you, Ed.
